Environmental Impact Assessment (EIS)
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is a formal process used to identify the potential environmental effects of an action, development or project. The aim of EIA is to ensure that possible issues are foreseen and addressed, as a part of the planning and design stages, to minimise negative effects and maximise opportunities for environmental enhancement.
The Aquatica Environmental team has experience successfully coordinating, managing and implementing the ecological component of the EIA process for a diverse range of project types and sizes for both the public and private sectors.
Aquatica Environmental can advise on the ecological impacts of a project as a stand-alone ecological impact assessment or as the ecological component of an EIA. We can provide advise from the earliest stages of a project all the way through to the construction and operation phases. However, we can also assist you with any of these individual stages.
We work closely with your project team, any required specialists and approvals authorities to investigate and evaluate the potential impacts of the project and develop practical management and mitigation measures suitable to your project.
